The associate’s skill set shall include marketing strategy, positioning, copy writing and graphic design and potentially include spirit wear sourcing and design. The associate will work collaboratively with members of the Marketing and Communications Office, Summer Programs Office, and report to the chief marketing officer. This is a three-day per week position, potentially remote.

Support the overall objectives of the Marketing and Communication Office:

• Research and develop compelling messaging and a coordinated brand identity for The Hun School’s portfolio of Summer Programs and Camps.
• Design and execute an effective multi-media marketing plan for the School’s Summer Programs and Camps.
• Develop and execute a communication strategy to support Summer Program enrollment and student arrival.
• Conduct program and market research annually to support program development and growth.
• Gather and analyze constituent behavior data: website analytics, reviews, and surveys.
• Design and consult on graphic design projects that support the overall objectives of the Marketing and Communications Office.
• Source and design Hun School spirit wear and gifts to support the diverse cultures and interests of the School community.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create and promote seasonal apparel and gifts.
• Manage the School’s eCommerce site for spirit wear and gifts and related promotion.
• Support various school events and projects as needed.

The Marketing Associate’s requirements are:

• Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and relevant techniques.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Graphic design skills and a strong visual eye.
• Experience or knowledge of web-design and messaging platforms.
• Experience sourcing or designing apparel is preferred but not necessary.
• Familiarity with independent schools or higher education is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field of study.
