Description The Erskine College Office of Marketing and Communications seeks an energetic, creative, and capable coordinator. The marketing and communications coordinator provides assistance with the management and implementation of initiatives that enhance, promote, and protect Erskine’s brand and reputation.
Responsibilities • Office and schedule coordination: Help organize logistics, calendars, scheduling, and office communications. • Project management: Assist with planning, organization, and execution of marketing and communications projects. • Client and vendor relations: Act as primary contact for institutional clients and vendor partners, assuring quality, consistency, and timely execution of initiatives. • Customer service management: facilitate communication for print services site; communicate with departments about proposed and current projects. • Meeting and logistics coordination: Schedule meetings; create and distribute agendas, notes, and reports for meetings. • Website maintenance: Update website content as needed.
Qualifications • A personal and professional commitment to the Christian values and mission of Erskine College • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred • Attention to detail; strong organizational skills with an eye for accuracy in communication and project management • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively coordinate clients, partners, and vendors on campus and in the larger community • Adaptability, flexibility, and desire to learn and implement new skills and tools • Innovative/creative approach to transforming strategic goals into tangible and timely executions• Ability to own delegated items, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced and changing environment and to anticipate future needs • Practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is a plus • Skill in photography or videography is a plus • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 preferred

Erskine College is located in the academic village of Due West in Abbeville County, South Carolina, an area rich in colonial, Revolutionary War, and Civil War history. The town and the college have a number of antebellum buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
