You will direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for product marketing and portfolio management for assigned financially and/or strategically critical product line(s). Responsible for managing margin, goals & objectives, developing strategies to optimize the performance of existing and new products, leading engineering development efforts and managing financial plans and objectives. This person will also have responsibility for conducting assessment of existing and potential markets, portfolio life cycle planning, portfolio project prioritization, sales & technical competency planning, and the definition & execution of portfolio promotional activities to optimize the performance of existing and new products. Responsible for coordinating with development engineering, 3rd parties and Manufacturing regarding the activities of strategic business partners relative to assigned product portfolio. Establish pricing strategies. Lead and drive Global New product introduction and commercialization. Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Develop and administer schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. Frequently interact with subordinate, supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Resolve wide range of issues in creative and effective ways. Direct or Indirect people management responsibilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business or Technical field, with MBA. Excellent spoken and written English.
Minimum of 5 years of proven management experience in sales/product marketing in Industrial Automation - with global responsibilities and including international work experience outside of Singapore.
Industrial Automation technical/ product knowledge and field experience.
Industry knowledge across End User and OEMs in Industrial Automation space.
Good communication skills, influencing capabilities, with Strong execution skills.
Ability to partner/ network with internal/external stakeholders.
Strong Articulation and influencing skills across functional teams & global locations/cultures to achieve objectives.
