Job Summary

As the Segment Marketing Manager for Health Information Management (HIM) & Coding, you will be accountable to design and deploy messaging, value proposition, and strategic marketing plans addressing the division's HIM & Coding product portfolio spanning the Revenue Cycle Solutions Business, Clinician Solutions business, and the Performance Management Business. You will be expected to develop a strong, full-funnel marketing strategy to drive new opportunities to leverage a broader portfolio relevant to the market. You will help to transition the organization from product to customer and end user focus, managing the division messaging for the HIM and Coding customer base.

You will collaborate with business unit stakeholders to ensure the marketing plans support strategic vision and divisional financial objectives. You will also collaborate with product marketing and marketing communications to execute on marketing plans. You will be responsible for knowing the HIM and Coding leaders' challenges and aspirations and will develop messaging that resonates with the persona. Here you will make an impact by:

  • Owning growth and demand generation with the HIM and Coding persona.
  • Leading insight efforts to deepen 3M understanding of the HIM and Coding persona.
  • Build and lead the marketing strategy for all communications to HIM and coding leadership and teams.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher(completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in healthcare marketing

  • Seven (7) years of marketing experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing
  • Five (5) years of healthcare marketing experience to revenue cycle, HIM, and coding leaders.
  • Three (3)years of experience marketing to AHIMA and AAPC certified professionals.
  • Experience with healthcare IT, particularly addressing the healthcare revenue cycle
  • Skills include the ability to rapidly master complex issues, strong communication and presentation abilities, strong organization, effective collaboration, and strategic decision making.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah or Remote

Travel: May include up to 30% travel

Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized
