The Marketing and Advertising Specialistplans and implements the marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts of the Corvallis Parks and Recreation Department. Create, implement, and analyze departmental and unit marketing plans. Design and oversee the design and production of marketing materials. Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Lead marketing projects and coordinate implementation across units. Plan ad-related sales, fundraising, sponsorship, and other revenue-generating efforts for department and units.
Part-time 30 hours per week, AFSCME-represented position, 12-month probationary period

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, related field preferred.
Three years’ experience coordinating marketing campaigns and graphic design work in print communication.
Extensive experience with relevant software applications including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Ability to learn new programs as technology advances. Extensive experience using social media as a marketing platform.
