Minot State University is seeking candidates for a position of Graduate Assistant Marketing, Promotions, and Tickets. Minot State University is a proud member of NCAA DII and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. All positions come with a stipend and graduate tuition waiver based on acceptance into the university program of study. No housing will be provided.
•Create and execute comprehensive marketing and promotions plans to drive attendance as well as enhance and increase brand awareness for assigned sports.
•Oversee assigned budget to secure promotional items, traditional and digital advertising and other expenditures as appropriate.
•Work with coaching staffs and other support personnel. •Coordinate and execute all aspects of game scripts and fan engagement at home events.
•Supervise undergraduate student workers at events as necessary.
•Assist with marketing, promotions, game scripts and fan engagement at assigned sports.
•Work with sponsors for scripting purposes, gameday operations, etc.
•Assist with the set-up and take down of home gamedays.
•Rotate between ticket operations and gameday operations to gain a knowledgeable understanding of marketing, promotions, events, and ticketing.
•Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.
•All other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or his/her designee.
The successful candidate must be accepted into the Minot State University Graduate School and pass a background check. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Additional Salary Information: Base salary in the first year of the Contract shall be ($5,000.00) annually and a tuition waiver in the amount of (18) credit hours. The tuition waiver can be applied to fall, spring and summer I semesters.
