Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking an experienced Director, Marketing Operations & Project Management at its Pittsburgh headquarters to develop, build and optimize marketing’s processes, systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of analytics and the marketing processes used to drive key decision making and goal attainment.
Manage, coach and develop a staff and related processes for the project management and production of presentations and other marketing materials
Drive enablement and change management as new tools and systems are launched and operationalized; establish and update training programs and documentation for marketing technologies, processes and best practices.
Process Improvement | Project Management | Operational Toolsets
Evaluate new technologies and process/workflow enhancements to improve and optimize marketing performance.
Take ownership and maintenance of all software/tools for tracking marketing work to help create visibility and efficiency across the marketing team.
Analytics | Reporting | Segmentation | Data
Working with the Digital Marketing team, generate analytics on marketing performance, including marketing dashboards and creation of monthly and quarterly reports monitoring progress.
Develop a strategy and execution plan to scale and automate reporting in partnership with cross functional teams to enable proactive business insights.
Budget | Planning
Manage a marketing budget and implement tracking and measurement tools to improve marketing ROI over time.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or finance required; MA or MBA in business, communications, marketing or finance preferred
10+ years of marketing, analytics or operations experience including shaping new ways to track, visualize, and unlock insights around marketing engagement and programs required;
Experience working with IT counterparts to build technological infrastructure, processes, etc. required;
Experience managing staff, setting strategic direction and working with cross-functional teams required
Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience directing staff and outside vendors required
Minimum 7 years of experience working with Sales and Distribution required
In-depth understanding of marketing technology landscape, measurement and attribution approaches required
Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value and ROI required
