The Sugar Bowl Committee is accepting applications for a Marketing and Sponsorship Intern position in the Bowl’s office. The paid position is for 10 months, beginning in August and running through May. Marketing and Sponsorship Intern will assist with the Bowl’s marketing and sponsor fulfillment efforts throughout the year and during Bowl week. Specific duties for the Sugar Bowl and its calendar of events will depend upon the background and experience of the applicant but will include work on the 2027 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl and over 20 other Committee sponsored events throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Effective written and oral communications skills, along with strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate coursework
Prior practical collegiate athletics experience in marketing and sponsorships will receive priority consideration
Promotion Prompt: The Sugar Bowl is proud of the unique fan experience afforded to team guests and visitors during game week. Please prepare and share a detailed outline of a sponsor-integrated promotion which would enhance the Sugar Bowl fan experience in New Orleans during game week.
Mission: The Sugar Bowl's mission is to seek out, promote, finance, sponsor, schedule, conduct, and operate an annual calendar of local, state, national and international amateur and collegiate sporting events in the Greater New Orleans area and the State of Louisiana for the purpose of generating tourism. On January 15, 2027, the Organization will host the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the 93rd Annual Sugar Bowl Classic in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Membership and Staff: There are over 125 individuals comprising the current membership of the Sugar Bowl Committee. These members represent the Organization on various working committees designed to carry out the Sugar Bowl's mission. The Organization's day-to-day operations are conducted in its office located in the Caesars Superdome and are handled by a full-time staff of 12 employees.
