Description:
Hofstra University's Department of Marketing, International Business and Legal Studies invites applications for one anticipated full-time, tenure-track faculty position starting in fall 2023. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses, research and professional activity, and school service.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (ABD's will be considered) in marketing and strong teaching abilities and research skills are required. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have taught and/or have done research in the areas of digital/social media marketing, advertising, consumer behavior, behavioral analytics, and related topics.
Research and publications associated with marketing are required and supported.
The Department of Marketing, International Business and Legal Studies has 13 full-time faculty and close to 300 marketing and 70 international business majors in the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Zarb School offers BBA, BBA/MBA, BBA/MS, MS, MBA, EMBA, and JD/MBA degrees. Both undergraduate and graduate programs are AACSB accredited. Among many high technology resources available to faculty and students for research and pedagogy, the Zarb School of Business has a Behavioral Research in Business Laboratory. It is a 1,556-square-foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as eye tracking, facial analysis, voice analysis, and text analysis to conduct advanced behavioral research.
