Position description The Rady School of Management (http://rady.ucsd.edu) at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The Rady School invites applications for one or more faculty positions at the assistant professor level (tenure-track) in the field of Marketing, subject to the availability of funds.
This position represents an Excellence Search for Diverse Faculty in Management initiative which seeks to recruit early-career faculty to the Rady School. This initiative seeks to build a more diverse faculty and aims to foster a diverse and inclusive community of scholars to enhance our academic and research missions.
Duties include active research, classroom teaching of university students, and departmental and university service. The standard teaching load is three courses per year.
In addition to scholarship, teaching, and professional activity, the successful candidate(s) for this position will have potential or demonstrated contributions to a climate that supports equity, inclusion, and diversity. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to helping shape and expand the University's diversity initiatives (http://diversity.ucsd.edu/).
Salary and appointment level are dependent on experience and based on University of California pay scales. The positions are subject to funding and are expected to have a start date of July 1, 2023.

Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Candidates must be ABD or advancing to candidacy. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) Candidates must have a PhD or be working toward completion of a PhD in marketing or a related field by the start date of the new academic year (July 2023).
Preferred qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with emerging scholarly records whose research interests intersect well with the Rady School's initiatives in Marketing and/or related field of Business Analytics.
Additional consideration given for teaching potential at the graduate level. The school seeks candidates whose research, teaching, and/or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. Application Requirements
