Job Summary:
In collaboration with Senior Associate Athletics Director – External Operations, this position manages the daily operations and functions of the departments' Marketing and Creative Services areas. This position provides leadership on matters related to the functional areas of responsibility to meet the needs of the department. Position ensures alignment with department's strategic business plan and guides vision and strategy for the area in order to achieve Athletic Department objectives and to move Gonzaga University's mission forward.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
5 years progressively responsible experience in marketing & promotions or other related field
1 year supervisory experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a diverse university, community and athletic department environment cultivating and maintaining positive working relationships
Ability to be detail oriented in a high stress, fast–paced environment
Energetic and motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work within a competitive and collaborative environment and meet critical project deadlines
Ability to solve problems, make decisions, multi-task and prioritize ongoing and new projects successfully
Excellent administrative, organizational, time management, computer application, communication and personnel management skills
Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed for various Athletic functions and events.
