Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, and branding.
Job Summary
The Sr. Product Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Sharps Safety portfolio within the broader core products team. This role that will support commercial initiatives and sales enablement activities for the US Needles & Syringes business.
Responsibilities
Provides resources and guidance to internal sales & service account teams and serves as the primary point of contact.
Prepares new product information, promotional materials and reporting for cross-functional business partners.
Leads competitive cross?referencing initiatives while aligning closely with supply and demand planning teams to ensure smooth, on?time customer onboarding.
Plans and coordinates business commercialization activities such as website updates, new product launches and other strategic content with leadership.
Creates and manages a variety of content (e.g., sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to enterprise businesses.
Becomes and serves as an indispensable advisor to internal and external customers, earning trust and credibility to impact their bottom line.
Facilitates meetings to communicate essential updates to the sales team, improving team clarity and execution.
Understands market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales enablement and go-to-market strategies for Needles & Syringes.
Equips the sales team with the necessary tools and materials to sell our products effectively. This includes training sessions, product collateral, and custom sales strategies.
Participates in industry conferences, trade associations, and other industry events to promote Cardinal Health?s products and services and to stay abreast of market developments.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Strong attention to detail and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively; Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work across multiple teams and levels of leaders to communicate and collaborate on projects for completion.
Thrive in a collaborative environment, acting as a connector between cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an open mind
Willing to go the extra mile to solve problems for customers, team, and business
Ability to travel up to 25%
Anticipated salary range: $68,500 - $82,000
