About the Internship This internship offers a dynamic opportunity for a highly motivated college student to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of performing arts marketing. The intern will play a key role in supporting both event-specific marketing campaigns and broader institutional marketing efforts, targeting the college student demographic. This position will provide valuable exposure to various marketing functions, including digital marketing, social media management, content creation, event planning, and audience engagement. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to contribute to the company's overall marketing strategy and help cultivate relationships with the college student community.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for specific performances and events
Researching and identifying potential marketing channels
Tracking and analyzing event marketing metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Contributing to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to build brand awareness and engagement
Creating engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and the company website.
Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Contributing to the creation of marketing reports and presentations.
Participating in marketing team meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions.
Providing administrative support to the marketing team, as needed.
Assisting with other marketing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be enrolling in college, currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
Must be willing/able to work all hours listed below in-person
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ?
Creativity and a passion for the performing arts.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Outgoing personality and comfortable interacting with people.
Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably majoring in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ?
Experience with content creation (e.g., writing blog posts, creating social media graphics) is a plus.
Experience with project management (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus.
