Troy Sports Properties (PlayFly) and Troy University are accepting applications for its Director of Revenue Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •The Director of Revenue Marketing will oversee all operations and sales for Tailgate Terrace and the Fan Fun Zone for football gamedays including: oPre-Game Concert oTent Sales oFood Trucks oBeer Garden oKids Zone oMerchandise Stand Development •This position will be responsible for designing and implementing fan experience, marketing, and sales campaigns for Women’s Basketball and Softball. •This position will be responsible for directing all Women’s Basketball games, and will assist in the direction of Football and Men’s Basketball games. •This position will also help oversee the design and implementation of campaigns for Women’s Soccer. •Will also assist the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement in all marketing and sales campaigns surrounding revenue generating sports. •Will support the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement in recruitment, scheduling, and training of the student intern program. •Will oversee all operations and sales for T-Roy’s Pet Pals. •Coordinate and implement all activation features within the Troy Athletics App. •Coordinate with the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement on social media campaigns supporting the primary accounts for the Athletics Department. •Work directly with Troy Sports Properties on all fulfillment and in-game sponsorship activations for home football, basketball, and baseball games. •Analyze data from email correspondence, social media, and the Troy Athletics app to ensure optimal ROI and advise the Troy Athletics team on ways to improve communication to season ticket holders, alumni, fans, and students. •This position reports directly to the Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement and the Executive Associate Athletics Director for External Relations.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting while also being self-motivated and organized. • Ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed, potentially including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Knowledge of NCAA rules. • Knowledge of college athletics content trends. • Knowledge of current social and digital media trends and specifications. • Ability to work home athletic events. • Excellent communication skills as it pertains to internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to recruit and direct student interns and student workers.
