Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is seeking applicants for 5 graduate assistant positions in the following areas: 1 GA in Video Production, 1 GA in Marketing/Creative Content, 1 GA in Ticketing/Sponsorship, 1 GA in Women's Volleyball and 1 GA in Athletics Administration. ------------------------------------------------------------ VIDEO PRODUCTION GA JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Communication and Broadcasting, the graduate assistant is primarily responsible for assisting in the video production, broadcast and streaming of 16 intercollegiate sports at SIUE. The graduate assistant will be the primary contact for streaming all home contests on ESPN+. Duties include camera set up, graphic management, and broadcast production. The graduate assistant also is active in the creative development and production of videos, graphics, and website maintenance. The graduate assistant works closely with the coaches of both the men's and women's athletic programs.

------------------------------------------------------------ TICKETING/SPONSORSHIP GA JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the immediate supervision of the Assistant AD for Annual Fund and Ticketing, the graduate assistant will assist in all areas of operation for ticketing. Specific duties will include but are not limited to assisting in ticket sales, overseeing student tickets and engagement, overseeing player guests and will call, assisting with reconciliation and deposits and supervising game day ticket operations for specific sports, among other ticket-related responsibilities. Additionally, the graduate assistant will assist in sponsorship and merchandise operations, specifically managing sponsorship fulfillment, merchandise ordering and inventory, data systems and engagement communications.

------------------------------------------------------------ MARKETING/CONENT CREATION GA JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Athletics Marketing, the Marketing and Content graduate assistant would have the following responsibilities: • Coordination with all SIUE athletics teams, responsibilities include, but not limited to, developing, creating, and managing the production of creative assets of graphics for social media, print, and promotional materials • Static and dynamic designs for social media & promotional/print material • Manage the voice, tone, and messaging for SIUE Athletics social media platforms • Assist in the consistency of the athletics brand strategy • Develop, create, and manage the production of creative assets including graphics, GIFs, and short form content • Assist in managing the voice, tone, and messaging on all the social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, while staying up to date with other emerging platforms • Assist in delivering strategic messaging and visual communications to the marketing and communications team to promote all Varsity Sports on digital platforms while helping to communicate athletic team’s directives to the external staff

Reports to the Head coach and Director of Athletics and must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics. Duties include: • Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program. • Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fund raising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. • Comply with University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. • Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel. • Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete.

------------------------------------------------------------ ATHLETICS ADMINISTRATION GA JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Athletics Director and administrative team, this position will get a well-rounded experience within the entire athletic department. This position will be exposed to and have responsibilities in many different areas within the department, which will prepare them for a career in college athletics. Duties include: •Assist with all facets of the daily administrative operations of the department, including but not limited to event and facility operations, business operations, marketing, game day operations, and general administrative support •Assist in executing general administrative management functions of the athletic department •Serve as the primary point of contact for the office. Greets guests and direct appropriately. •Serve as the department's central communication coordinator, maintaining calendars and travel schedules for the Athletic Director •Assists in the management of special events •Assists with administrative projects/duties, conduct departmental research, and assist with community relations. •Provide and contribute to a positive atmosphere that promotes a sense of commitment, optimism, growth, unity, appreciation, and resiliency.
