Greenville University is seeking an innovative scholar to serve as a full-time tenure-track assistant or associate professor in Marketing in the Briner School of Business to start in August 2023. The successful candidate will provide an experiential learning environment that is innovative and relevant. The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time faculty load is twelve credit hours per semester, usually consisting of two to three general education courses and one or two upper-division courses. Other responsibilities will include assisting in recruitment of students, student advisement, and regular participation in institutional committee work and professional development. The faculty member may have additional duties with student publications depending on qualifications and interests.
Rank is dependent upon qualifications.
Masters (doctorate preferred) in the area of marketing (or closely related field) with extensive professional work experience required.
Preference will be given to candidates with marketing experience.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and active involvement in professional or academic organizations.
