Job Description Boston University's Interactive Design division is looking for a talented, intelligent project management supervisor to oversee the project management function of the Interactive Design group within Creative Services. The project management supervisor leads a team of project managers on all aspects of website project planning, including defining tasks, providing estimates and schedules, tracking progress and expenses, and supervising daily project problem-solving with an eye towards efficiency, ensuring projects are completed on time, in scope and on budget, and are in line with the University's strategic goals and priorities. The project management supervisor works with the Interactive Design leadership team to ensure roles and responsibilities on projects are clearly defined, documented, and executed. The PMS supports the Associate Director with the operational and administrative aspects of the Interactive Design unit. The PMS also project manages high-profile strategic website projects as needed.

Required Skills
B.A. /B.S., or equivalent
Eight years of experience with management and leading marketing and design in an agency or higher education environment.
Experience overseeing and directing the work of project managers, designers, developers, writers, photographers, and other team members.
Personnel management skills, including recruiting and managing talent and fostering a highly productive studio culture essential.
Superb time management and project management skills.
Outstanding attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Requires flexibility and adaptability to new technology in a changing environment.
Requires the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to work well under pressure and on high-visibility projects.
A thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools is required.
Previous experience managing web-based projects utilizing technologies such as WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript is required.
Digital workflow experience is a plus.
