DMU is seeking an energetic person who will support the marketing and communications goals and objectives of the University by designing and managing the University’s website and other digital content, ensuring that we maximize Des Moines University’s brand. The position will help support the online promotion of University initiatives, achievements and events. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a great opportunity to join our very talented Marketing and Communications team as we build and prepare for our new innovative campus launch in West Des Moines in summer 2023!
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, computer science or related field required.
Plus two years’ experience working in marketing and communication required.
Demonstrated web design capabilities. Experience with streaming audio and video, compression methods, file types, and formats.
Excellent web design skills and creative thinking.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated marketing knowledge and best practices.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Knowledgeable with current online technologies and trends.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of student recruiting in higher education preferred.
