Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will lead a variety of marketing support activities to include the creation of promotional materials (flyers, brochures, web content, etc). You will provide editorial review of design and content, coordinate the creation and distribution of materials, partnership on special events, provide education to audiences and other related marketing tasks. You may also assist with the development of marketing plans and budgets. The role primarily serves as a marketing liaison to both internal medical staff and clinics and external health clinics and organizations This position coordinates development to delivery of hospital, clinic, physician, and patient materials, and assists in internal and external projects and events. The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in continuing to foster relationships with health providers and collaborators and support positive patient experiences.
Schedule: Full Time M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Connects with managers and support staff to gather input on opportunities for highlighting services, programs, and mission to key audiences, utilizing various forms of marketing materials and content. Reviews these opportunities and may recommend next steps to leaders for messaging format, content, and roll out.
Creates/edits marketing communications to promote programs and events, including newsletters, emails, brochures, flyers, print and radio communications and social media content.
Assists with coordination of editorial content through writing, proofreading, topic generation, content placement and multi-platform strategic distribution.
Writes/reviews editorial content for internal and external publications, newsletters, social media, and websites.
Partners with the team to plan, coordinate and execute events, conferences, tradeshows, and other special events. This may include organizing staff/volunteers, initiating and building community, and strengthening community and employee relationships.
Assists with the logistics for events and conferences, including reservations, rentals, acquiring materials necessary for event activities, shipping, and travel itineraries.
Manages the ongoing fulfillment process of marketing materials for multiple audiences.
Completes projects from start to finish, including coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and monitoring project progress, timelines, and budgets.
As assigned, manages the process of ordering, designing, and distributing branded items for teams and events. Facilitates the ongoing fulfillment process of marketing materials to multiple audiences.
Assists in the development of marketing plans and budgets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Edit, proofread, and revise communications using AP style guide.
Ability to work well in a group setting and maintain business relationships.

Ability to prioritize assignments.
Ability to work with news media and vendors in a professional manner.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work weekends as needed for special events.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Bachelor's degree is required, with emphasis in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Equivalent and related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or community/public relations is required
Previous experience using social media as a marketing platform is preferred
Must be able to work weekends, as needed, for special events
Conference/tradeshow experience is a plus.
Sedentary to light work: having to occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force.
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
