The Ex. Director's primary duty is to oversee the entire marketing department and provide leadership for staff and operations for the College's Marketing and Communications department within the Enrollment Management division. The Ex. Director is involved in assessing and creating the College's marketing plan and marketing strategy, and then planning, coordinating and directing marketing efforts.
The Ex. Director will lead the marketing team in strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns and is responsible for planning and directing the College's branding, marketing, long-term digital marketing and communication strategy.
The position will analyze the College's goals and research the target audiences to come up with detailed marketing plans and schedules for campaigns. This position will delegate tasks for these campaigns to the marketing team and will oversee the campaign's performance and will ensure it stays on track with the schedule laid out. The Ex. Director will analyze the results of each campaign and will compile these results in comprehensive reports, which will be presented to the leadership and executive teams.
Management of MarComm team & KPIs; Develops and implements goals, objectives, KPIs, policies, procedures and work standards for the department.
Developing and communicating the marketing plan.
Building brand awareness, including positioning; Ensures College's brand identity is maintained and communicated to stakeholders and constituents; monitors brand strength and creates initiatives to increase awareness of College's brand identity and reputation; coordinates efforts with internal staff and external resources to establish brand platform, positioning and creative campaigns; establishes and enforces brand guidelines and communicates them to internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinating marketing projects from beginning to end; Serves as functional lead for department on technology related planning and prioritization; submits requests, ensures coordination of efforts and provides updates to users.
Research and product development; Identifying the College's potential customers.
Managing the digital marketing by defining, building and maintaining the College's digital marketing strategies roadmap; Working with the marketing team and stakeholders to develop and analyze digital campaigns and how ROI/KPIs can be measured
Analyzing data and preparing reports; Assesses effectiveness of marketing strategies and utilizes data to form decision making; provides updates and presentations to Enrollment Management and Market Development committees of the Board of Trustees; assesses effectiveness of marketing initiatives and revises/modifies marketing strategies as required.

Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field; AND eight (8) years of professional experience in communications, digital marketing, print publications, web analytics and search engine optimization, management of agency/vendor relationships, marketing operations, and strategic planning; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
