The Assistant Manager, Marketing is responsible for assisting in the management of all marketing and communications for the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. Primary responsibilities include social media management, community and campus promotions, internal client marketing needs and the execution of strategic marketing plan to meet revenue and participation goals. This position is responsible for the hiring and supervision of the team of student creatives, as well as providing oversight of the teams deliverables in a wide variety of media. The Assistant Manager, Marketing also oversees the creation and distribution of regular analytic reports to measure customer engagement through strategic marketing initiatives.

BA/BS in Marketing/Communications, Public Relations or related field
3-5 years experience in the field
Excellent verbal and written, customer-service, organizational and leadership skills
Experience marketing recreation and/or wellness to a community
Experience in managing and growing social media presence and analytics
Experience with programs including Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Sprinklr (or similar social media management platforms) and Mailchimp (or similar email marketing tool)
