Position Summary: This position plays an important role in executing the school’s Marketing & Communications Strategy including fostering a strong sense of school community - while also forecasting trends, assessing customer satisfaction, and working to attract the best applications from a talented and diverse body of prospective families for enrollment and advancement-related objectives.
This position will collaborate on the conception and design of print and digital marketing projects, website, and branded materials. They should possess excellent visual design skills, basic web technical know-how, print production experience, a great portfolio, and an eagerness to grow in this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the creation and management of the school’s Communications Strategy and school’s Strategic Plan.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications, Admissions, Advancement, and other departments to design, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns.
Maximize online platforms, and advertising platforms to reach target audiences with key messages, strategic content, and marketing material.
Maintain and interpret analytics, and provide regular reports.
Research and understand target audiences.
Contribute to planning, writing, and posting content for advertising and promotion across web, email, and social media platforms.
The candidate must be able to work some nights and weekends for school events.
Other duties as required to support the Marketing and Communications team.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or the international equivalent with a focus on related field
2 or more years of experience in content creation, excellent writing skills, and the ability to establish collaborative relationships with all school constituencies (including current and prospective parents, teachers, alumni and their families, and local community members).
Experience with or demonstrated ability to quickly learn Facebook Business, Google Analytics, social analytics, and Google Adwords.
Some knowledge of WordPress, Finalsite, or other website content management platforms.
Google Suite for education.
Adobe suite or other photo editing tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Ability to create, analyze and edit a wide variety of documents (both print and digital).
High level of attention to detail as well as the capacity to be a proactive and analytical problem solver.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Organized with the ability to work under deadlines with conflicting demands from various departments.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Ability to conduct research, and prepare and present reports/metrics.
Ability to be tactful, demonstrate excellent judgment, and work as a positive and collaborative team member.
