Visit Seattle is a destination marketing organization responsible for promoting the Seattle area as a destination for visitors from all corners of the world.  This position is part of the Marketing department managing messaging around Seattle’s leisure campaigns. The Marketing Manager is a creative, a team player, a great writer, an ally, and, most importantly, a huge fan of Seattle. They will work with a talented and innovative team of creatives to amplify all the things that make Seattle a must-visit, must-see destination. This person is organized and works well under tight deadlines, thrives when working independently but is also a team player, ready to jump in wherever needed. They will be a part of an organization dedicated to pursing an anti-racist future for Seattle and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

• Build awareness of and excitement for Seattle as a destination, working with creative agency and internal department to develop and execute multi-channel leisure campaigns.
• Liaise between agency and internal department – managing schedules, feedback, core messaging.
• Be an active member of the local hospitality community and work closely with hotel marketing liaisons.
• Be a brand steward, ensure continuity in our marketing message and voice.
• Express your passion for travel in everything we do.

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years relevant experience required.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Strong background using computers; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is a bonus.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to handle diverse colleagues, multiple projects and priorities at the same time with poise and efficiency.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, exhibits follow through and reliability.
• Strong service approach with both internal and external customers.
• Consistently positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the office.
• COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of employment.
