Florida International University (FIU) (Modesto Maidique Campus) is seeking an individual to serve as a Graduate Assistant in its Athletics Marketing office. The candidate must be enrolled or accepted into an FIU graduate program. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Marketing in all facets of promoting the intercollegiate athletic program. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned sports
•Act as game producer for assigned sports
•Assist with additional sports marketing and game production as needed
•Development of marketing plans
•Oversight of student interns
•Create digital and print marketing collateral
•Maintain the overall brand of the University and its athletics program
•Serve as a brand ambassador at select on- and off-campus events
The assistantship includes a waiver of tuition and books for the fall, spring and summer semesters, plus a stipend for the fall and spring semesters projected at $9000, and summer up to $4500.
