Essential Functions: •In partnership with the senior athletics management team, assist the with the development of department’s overall marketing and branding strategies •Assist NJIT’s multimedia rights partner with the development and implementation of sponsorship initiatives •In collaboration with the Ticket Manager, develop and implement campus & community outreach programing with a focus towards increased ticket revenue •Develop and implement initiatives to increase student and fan engagement at athletic events •Plan, direct, and execute in-game promotional efforts including the creation of game scripts, management of music & videoboard, promotional activities, and the coordination of spirit squads (Highlander mascot, pep band, cheerleaders, and dance team) •Initiate & build relationships on-campus and in the community. Work in a professional & positive manner within the department (event operations, media relations, ticket operations, advancement, coaching staffs & athletic teams) and with on-campus and external constituents •Represent Athletics on various committees especially with on-campus partnerships (Student Life, Greek Life, Residential Life, Student Senate) •Comply with all NCAA, conference, and NJIT rules and policies

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience in public relations, marketing, sales, or sports management in the collegiate or professional level
• Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills with a proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules
