Marketing Director (Healthcare)

The Marketing Director is responsible for leadership of the marketing and public relations aspects of the organization, as well as leadership of hospital volunteers. The position will lead patient, customer, and provider engagement endeavors, both external and internal, to enhance Upson’s positive reputation within the communities served. The position is responsible for planning and executing all Upson marketing-related projects, initiatives, and PR plans. Closely aligned with these responsibilities is leadership of our Hospital Auxiliary. Position is responsible for planning, completing, and implementing annual budgets in alignment with an annual organization-wide marketing plan. This is a senior leadership position that requires a significant amount of analytical ability in combination with a creative focus. This position reports to the CEO.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or business field

5+ years' experience in marketing, public relations, and/or closely related field, preferably within a healthcare setting, as well as experience in fundraising and/or Foundation management, experience with grant writing
