Provides leadership and strategic direction for the implementation of athletic marketing and communications programs and campaigns including overseeing the fan experience on game days. Develops messaging and marketing strategies that align with department goals and oversees community engagement events and activities.

Develops and implements marketing and sales plans in coordination with marketing and communications staff. Plans and implements community and athlete engagement events and activities. Ensures an optimal and engaged game day atmosphere.
Oversees staff production of marketing and advertising materials for various sporting events and activities.
Solicits, secures, and develops new media sponsorship packages to ensure sponsorship fulfillment. Coordinates with multi-media rights holders and fulfills television, radio, print, and new media advertising.
Coordinates with vendors to secure training and hospitality and/or club meals. Secures and oversees coordination of game day music and entertainment.

Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in marketing, communications or related field, with two (2) years of experience in a leadership role
