The Impact: S&P Global ESG demand generation specialists are producers of key marketing campaigns that support ESG commercial goals. The role will work under the direction of the Global Head of ESG Marketing, and in partnership with product managers, commercial partners and marketing colleagues from across S&P Global business divisions, to lead the development and implementation of various campaigns to engage clients & prospects, drive lead generation, and align with the larger ESG business strategy. Key responsibilities include line management responsibility for the Marketing Manager - Demand Generation, developing the annual demand generation plan for North America and EMEA, and executing multi-channel, thematic and persona-based campaigns, that span digital, social, events and webinars.

Marketing communications - Design and implement creative, multi-channel ESG marketing programs that educate on the practical aspects of accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future taking into consideration the different information needs of regions, segments and persona.
Campaign content - Produce engaging and differentiated web and advertising copy, social posts, video content, and email campaigns aligned to the business' ESG growth strategy. Analyze and measure performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Sales enablement - Develop materials to help commercial teams communicate the value proposition of ESG products and support the selling process of those products.
Event support & management - Work closely with the events team to innovate and execute a virtual and in-person ESG event program, including webinars, roundtables and third-party conferences. This includes pre-event/ post communication, driving registrations, generating leads, and reporting on key event KPIs.
Cross functional teams - Collaborate with cross-divisional marketing and functional teams to deliver joined-up ESG marketing activities and provide timely updates.
Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $74,400 to $154,400. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will possess ESG marketing experience and demonstrate a keen interest in accelerating the transition to a low carbon, sustainable and equitable future. Strong written and communication skills are critical, as is the ability to be a strong individual leader and contributor. The candidate must demonstrate their ability to craft compelling messaging and leverage the full complement of marketing channels. Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce and Hootsuite (or comparable platforms) is essential.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
Foundation understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global
Experience in developing an annual marketing plan and budget; experience in budget management
Experience in writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product's benefits and unique selling proposition
Knowledge of print, digital, social, and event channels used to build B2B marketing campaigns
Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment
Ability to collaborate with others beyond one's reporting line
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Marketo marketing automation a plus
