The Assistant Director for Marketing and Communication is directly responsible for marketing and communicating the mission, programs, purpose, and vision of the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground (HTC), with the goal of growing the Centers reputation on campus and nationally. Marketing includes the use of social media, written communications, video, posters, flyers, annual reports, and assessments. This individual will be responsible for updating content on the HTC website (bu.edu/thurman). The Assistant Director must develop collaborative relationships with Boston University Marketing & Communications and establish a network of campus partners to promote HTC content. This individual must also be willing to staff HTC programs on some nights and weekends. The Assistant Director will directly supervise a Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Communications
3-5 years of work experience, Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
