The Director of Marketing & Sponsorship reports to the CEO of the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA). This position will be responsible for managing all marketing initiatives, social media, website, member, and prospective member promotional campaigns. Other duties include assisting with events and overseeing sponsorship programs.
Membership & Prospective Members
Assist CEO with developing prospective member campaign with the goal of adding high quality new members to the organization each year.
Work with team to achieve 90% membership retention.
Marketing:
Develop annual marketing plan and strategy.
Design and implementation of marketing suites for all national conferences, regional events, virtual programs, and newly created marketing initiatives.
Work with team for the creation and sending digital marketing assets to targeted audiences.
Participate in conference related marketing initiatives and scheduling of marketing materials with CEO and NEFA staff.
Creation of print ads for bi-monthly publications and on-site signage at events.

Maintain public and members only webpages.
Manage website back-end items for optimal functionality.
Update and monitor all web related content.
Social Media
Development, setup, implementation and management of consistent social media postings and activity across all social media platforms.
Sponsorship & Advertising Programs (including Partner Program - NEFA’s annual sponsorship program for members only):
Manage the Partner Program each year.
Schedule meetings and recruit additional Partners.
Achieve annual revenue goals.
Work with team to design annual partner program brochure.

Conference and Events:
Assist team in selecting appropriate venues for the annual conferences and regional events.
Assist team with developing creative conference offerings with CEO, and conference planning committee, based on emerging trends.
Manage and work with exhibitors/sponsors at each conference.
Assists with coordinating and managing the regional, virtual, and educational initiatives with the team.
Responsible for purchasing and managing all conference related items.
Creation of marketing suite for each event.
Committees & Task Forces
Work with Marketing Committee, Board Task Force, and other committees as assigned to move various projects forward.
Desired Skill Set:
4+ years of marketing experience.
Self-starter with strong technological and database management skills.
Salesforce CRM and Pardot experience desired but not required.
Print and digital design experience required.
Required knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Adobe Design programs.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong ability to cultivate relationships with members and sponsors.
Ability to collaborate with remote team members.
College degree required; concentration in business/marketing preferred.
