Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, journalism / communication, or relevant work experience
• 3+ years' prior experience working in a marketing or communications capacity, preferably in incubators, innovation hubs or academic institutions.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Familiarity managing audience segments and mailing lists. 
• Familiarity with customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Management or oversight of digital marketing campaigns 
• Designing strategies to target specific audiences and boost event and program attendance 
• Designing content pillars aligned with brand identity
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical / project management skills
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity
• Innovative, resourceful, and efficient with limited resources
• Ability to juggle priorities and autonomously manage your time to ensure the most value-add to the team and company
• Incredibly organized with impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to influence and manage wide-scale projects across multiple levels and functions of the organization; understands how to motivate teams while maintaining a sense of humility
