The Interventional Cardiovascular group at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is looking for a versatile content producer with digital marketing skills. In this role, you will help grow the group???s presence on social media, grow traffic to the division???s site and increase conversions on our online appointment request forms, and develop new opportunities to engage with both prospective patients and referring physicians.
Responsibilities
Creating original social medial content (text, image, videos) to make cardiovascular topics relevant and engaging to a broad audience
Finding and sharing the most compelling articles, images, videos and other health-related resources on the web
Maintaining a multi-channel content calendar
Managing FB, Twitter, Instagram, & YouTube accounts, including uploading and scheduling posts, monitoring mentions and responses, and gathering analytics
Developing creative assets for paid social media advertising and launching campaigns
Managing our Mailchimp newsletter, including uploading and packaging content and gathering analytics
Collaborating with doctors, researchers and administrators to create content for specific marketing needs
Monitoring and amplifying the social media presence of our faculty
Assisting marketing manager with execution of search engine campaigns and reputation management
Writing monthly status reports (including recommendations for future content considerations)
Performing other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
Other Requirements
Clear, authentic writing style
Ability to perform independent research
Graphic and photo editing skills
Video production experience
Familiarity with FB, Twitter, and Instagram analytics and advertising platforms
Familiarity with GoogleAds, GoogleMyBusiness, Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, Search Console
Must successfully complete systems training requirements
