The Senior Vice President (SVP) is responsible for the Sales and Marketing of the Advisory business at Primerica. This role is also responsible for the management of the Managed Investment Consulting Team which consists of Internal and External Consultants plus Product Managers. The SVP will develop strategies for helping Series 65 advisors accomplish Primerica’s Lifetime Investment Platform Sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Managed Account Sales with financial advisors. The candidate should have strong public speaking skills for representative training meetings and client seminars as requested by advisors.
Manage the Managed Investment Consulting Team
Help develop talent within the team
Travel with consultants in the field to advisor training meetings and field rotations
Manage the product marketing team and lead strategic initiatives with managers
Maintain the core suite of materials on platform, client facing and advisor facing materials
Maintain marketing materials from managers
Develop seminar presentations and templates plus work with the managers on seminar presentation to enable advisors to conduct client seminar program
Assist advisors in understanding proposal tools and research offered within technology platform
Maintain relationships with other groups involved with the Lifetime Investment Platform such as operations, compliance, legal, and various Primerica departments
Coordinate with Primerica’s outside due diligence consultant to manage and maintain the managers on the platform
Coordination of Primerica’s Investment Committee
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
15 years managed accounts experience, proven sales record in managed accounts
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent business experience
Series 65 or 7 and 66 licenses required
CIMA and other industry designations/certifications is a plus
Experience in managed account marketing
Demonstrated experience in leading, building and supervising teams
Experience building teams and talent development
Experience in due diligence and product review
Knowledge of investments, retirement plan products, and market dynamics is a real plus
Effective verbal and written communication and coaching skills
Effective problem solving/analysis skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently in procedures or policies
Additional Salary Information: Bonus eligible position. SVP bonus is a mix of cash and company equity
