The Interactive Marketing Manager, SEO is responsible for supporting actionable strategies and implementing enterprise programs to meet business objectives through search engine optimization. Additional responsibilities also include contributing to the company's plans for growth through emerging digital channels. The Marketing Manager works with business partners across the enterprise to develop and implement SEO programs that fit within the larger media plan. The role will also help implement Ameriprise's paid search and social media strategy- developing brand awareness & generating inbound traffic encouraging client deepening and acquisition. This role manages the day to day relationship with enterprise agencies/vendors to help in the strategy and execution, provides thought leadership, subject matter expertise for all parts of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. including the advice and wealth management and asset management groups.
General responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Support agency/vendor relationships, work with agencies to execute SEO strategy, proactively manage performance and ensure business goals are met.
Own and manage the business listing program on behalf of 9K+ local financial advisors.
Work closely with content creation partners to ensure site content aligns with SEO strategy.
Continually optimize SEO programs to drive qualified site traffic.
Manage relationships with key SEO vendors.
Monitor best practices within and outside financial services as it relates to SEO, drawing insights into the ongoing strategic development required to meet business and user goals.
Measure the impact of SEO programs by evolving KPIs in addition to report on effectiveness of individual campaigns in an effort to maximize results
Partner closely with content team to ensure SEO informs and aligns with editorial calendar.
Develop and foster internal alignment and integration with key stakeholders including Interactive Marketing, advertising, paid search, public relations, content, etc.
Report to senior leaders on quarterly plans, effectiveness of programs and business results.

3-5 years of experience.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven success building relationships and influencing across all levels, internally and externally.

Project management & leadership skills with a proven track record of implementing innovative online solutions.
Familiarity with digital marketing capabilities i.e. social media management, media/advertising platforms, marketing automation and campaign management tools.
