The National Accounts Omnichannel Marketing Manager is responsible for building brand equity and driving demand at key retailers in the ecommerce and brick & mortar landscape. With a consumer-first mindset, the Marketing Manager works to deliver overall business goals for our brands and retailers with programming that engages shoppers through the full path to purchase across all commerce channels. This individual must seamlessly and effectively partner cross functionally and motivate multiple internal and external stakeholders.
As the retail and consumer landscape is rapidly evolving, this candidate will work closely with National Account Sales partners navigating complex situations to find solutions that drive the most value. This role also requires strong financial and analytical acumen, the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources, and an understanding of how to optimize strategies and executions leveraging performance metrics.
Planning and development of omni channel, customer-specific retail programming for select Off-premise National Accounts including ecommerce-enabled media, consumer promotions, in-store awareness, partnerships, sampling, and other trial driving mechanisms.
Annual planning of retailer specific activation that aligns with national brand calendars and retail calendars.
Ongoing communication of program performance and budget utilization to key stakeholders across the organization.
Agency management for shopper marketing / media program and creative development and execution.
Understand the retailer in-store and online landscape and communicating key changes/challenges to internal stakeholders.
Function as a voice of the brand to key customer team stakeholders; and function as a voice of the shopper and retailer to internal cross functional partners
Drive the digital component of the shopper journey (pre store, in store, or offer delivered) to convert shoppers to buyers.
Participation in key sales meetings with National Accounts buyers to present programming and ensure sell-in.
Manage 1 direct report, including goal setting and performance evaluation. Directs personnel in performing day-to-day marketing functions by managing, motivating, and developing employees, planning, and delegating work, and setting programming priorities and goals consistent with Company goals and objectives.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in consumer package goods (CPG) Marketing (Omni Channel, Shopper, Digital or Brand Marketing), Supplier or Agency side.
Must have omnichannel marketing experience and knowledge of current digital media trends & emerging platforms.
Experience developing and executing best-in-class omni channel trade marketing / shopper marketing programs for off-premise retailers in multiple classes of trade (Grocery, Mass Merch, Club, Liquor, Dug, Convenience Store)
Excellent communications skills; articulate, robust writing, speaking, and presentation-building skills, strong interpersonal skills, and solid cross functional skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize, and solid financial acumen
Experience managing support agencies to create consumer facing, creative digital and analog point of sale / merchandising materials
Strong teamwork skills; ability to champion projects and work with interdepartmental functions to achieve project completion in a smooth and timely manner
Motivated self-starter and be able to work without daily guidance
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Strong PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience the Beer or Alcohol Beverage Â industry
Experience & comfort with preparing for and presenting to retail buyers at large national retail accounts
Experience with and understanding of 3-tier distribution
Syndicated database experience (IRI or Nielsen), custom database experience a plus
