The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day activities of the office which include creating and implementing marketing plans for assigned sports and others as needed. Those efforts include working with coaching staff, writing and executing marketing plans, developing and implementing marketing strategies; creating strategies for fan engagement and attendance; coordinating event scripts; and supervising student workers assigned to game day and other activities. This position is an appointment for 2020-2021 academic year with the opportunity for a second term.
If the tuition waiver option is chosen this is not a formal Graduate Assistantship through the UK Graduate School. However, this position will include a combination of tuition waiver and monthly stipend not to exceed a pre-determined allocation. Additional compensation over the summer months will be determined at the discretion/need of the athletics department.
