The Department of Economics and Marketing in the Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a full time (9-month) renewable Instructor in Marketing position beginning in August 2021.
This position will be expected to teach marketing courses face-to-face on USI’s main campus and to teach distance learning marketing courses. Primary teaching needs include principles of marketing, sales management, retail policy, and promotional strategy. Full time instructors usually teach 4 class sections per semester.
Qualified candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Marketing or an MBA. Qualified applicants must also have a record of three years of recent professional experience in marketing or sales.
A strong candidate for this position will have professional marketing experience, a dedication to student success, and a willingness to actively participate in service to the college, university, and community.
USI’s Romain College of Business is dual accredited by the AACSB for business and accounting undergraduate and graduate programs and plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region. The College currently enrolling approximately 1,200 undergraduate business majors across eight different programs and more than 1,000 MBA students across seven concentration areas.
The University of Southern Indiana is in Evansville, Indiana’s third-largest city with an estimated metro population of 314,000. Located on the Ohio River, it is the commercial, medical and cultural hub of southwestern Indiana and the Illinois-Indiana-Kentucky tri-state area, and is within driving distance to Louisville, Kentucky, St. Louis, Missouri, Nashville, Tennessee, and Indianapolis, Indiana.
