What you’ll be doing...
This role is a blend of digital marketing, consulting, analytics, and measurement design. The Real-Time Marketing (RTM) Measurement Lead is an integral part of both the Marketing Effectiveness team, as well as the cross-functional RTM Pods, tasked with developing insights that enable Verizon to improve how digital media investments and site personalization impact business results. You will work closely with both CMO and BU teams, including Media Strategy & Operations, Creative, Digital Operations, and Finance, along with the Consumer business team to proactively design, measure, and implement RTM & personalization efforts from end-to-end. The end goal is to ensure strategic and tactical Real-Time Marketing decisions are informed by data-driven insights.
Lead the construction and design of the RTM test measurement plan ensuring a valid test structure that will lead to statistically significant results.
Lead the development and execution of analyses to assess sizing and prioritization of RTM test ideas for Test submission brief, in collaboration with Analytics lead.
Ensure results of RTM tests will lead to year-end attainment goals (i.e. makes sure the tests are scalable and will lead to realized revenue gains).
Be responsible for measuring the RTM test results determining if the test showed statistically significant lift or not.
Recommend timing and length of RTM tests, as well as which tests should be scaled into the company’s BAU operations versus which activities should be discontinued.
Partner with finance to determine the revenue actualization and annualization calculation for each of the test results.
Help define the proper audience for each RTM test in order to assess sizing & expected test lift expectations.
Attend daily RTM stand-up calls/meetings, compile measurement results and build insights presentations for key stakeholders and executives.
What we’re looking for...
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience in marketing, digital media, statistics, and/or analytics.
Experience with Adobe Analytics & DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) systems.
Even better if you have:
A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Statistics.
Ability to successfully build & interpret complex analytical testing techniques and insights as well as articulate implications of recommended decisions on business outcomes.
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience working effectively across organizational boundaries.
Proven analytical skills to construct & review A/B test design results, methodologies, data, and output to interpret findings, draft insights, and formulate recommendations.
Experience in segment marketing programs/tactics.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience making trade-offs to deliver effective solutions to business partners in a timely fashion.
Experiencedelivering accurate and timely results by overcoming obstacles through the development of mechanisms and tools to improve efficiencies.
