XDP - Xtreme Diesel Performance the nation’s largest retailer and distributor of parts and accessories exclusively for diesel powered vehicles, is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to participate in our company’s advertising campaigns.
Our ideal candidate can interpret customers’ behavior and suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for advertising strategies, and an interest in the automotive aftermarket, we want to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our company’s marketing efforts help us achieve our immediate and long-term business goals. Responsibilities:
Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)
Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
Design and implement successful marketing campaigns
Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
Craft clear product marketing copy
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns
Experience with research methods using data Google analytics
Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google Adwords
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
Proven working experience in marketing, particularly within the automotive industry
