POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Manage marketing, advertising, promotions, pricing and donor experience for 170+ global BioLife centers
  • Develop integrated marketing plan that covers global donor acquisition, retention and management strategies plus tactics based on overall Bio Life objectives
  • Member of the bio Life Senior Leadership Team
  • Design and execute omnichannel campaigns; own vendor and agency relationships
  • Leverage real-time data analysis to drive insights across function

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Build, manage and execute global marketing, advertising, pricing and promotions programs to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Bio Life
  • Create global donor experience measurements and satisfaction goals using competitive intelligence and strategy, and communications to meet KPI for Bio Life
  • Maintain the integrity of the Bio Life Brand as it aligns with the global Takeda Brand but is separate and distinct
  • Build, manage and execute forecasting system to help inform network, using data analytics
  • Develop global donor acquisition & retention strategy to maximize network performance and volume goals
  • Design/execute omnichannel campaigns, own vendor & agency relationships
  • Drive improvements to Digital Product channels
  • Lead fee & volume planning processes

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Digital/Performance Marketing experience
  • Experience with CRM technologies  and loyalty programs
  • Experience with Digital technologies

Leadership

  • Ability to develop strategic plans and set vision for team
  • Agile and able to work in ambiguous situations; experience in leading self and others to resolve issues with higher levels of management; Identify and resolve complex, technical operational and organizational problems
  • Experience in successfully leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary work at a global scale.
  • Possess an orientation for results and excellence, inspiring confidence and demonstrating conceptual and analytical thinking, initiative and flexibility
  • Must be able to attract and develop great talent and build effective virtual and indirect teams
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver on core responsibilities

Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Responsible for choosing how to allocate assigned budget assigned
  • Input to global function budget as well as input to priority setting cross functionally
  • Responsible for donor loyalty program investments
  • Vendor and advertising authority based on pre agreed upon criteria

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to distill and articulate key messages to executives, stakeholders and customers
  • Must possess outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across countries, business units / global functions to accomplish goals;
  • Effective consulting, problem definition, hypothesis building, solution development and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build key relationships and influence key stakeholders with differing goals and priorities across different management levels, from executives to analysts

  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Ability to continue to innovate new channels, communications, plans to support business goals
  • and objectives
  • Ability to monitor industry trends, benchmarks to scope out and apply to existing business and/or processes

  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace, dynamic, global matrixed and evolving environment
  • Ability to lead through change
  • Ability to see the big picture and understand key areas of focus to drive business KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to optimize volume, protein yield, & cost performance through analytics

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

15+ years in retail pharma, life science, or like industry

7+ years in multi unit marketing

5+ years of experiences people and/or project leadership

Bachelor Degree required, MBA preferred

Digital marketing experience required, multi channel program development a plus

Plasma or rare disease experience a plus

Plasma Collection regulations nice to have
