Oversees the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for assigned hospital service lines. Develops strategic vision and implementation of marketing and business development plans to meet established volume and market share goals for the hospital. Develops plans to meet goals with tracking mechanisms to ensure success.
Develops and manages the service line(s) operating budget(s).
Serves as a leader in working knowledge of the competitive landscape for assigned service lines. Maintains a strong working knowledge of competitors, technology, and new physicians in the market. Communicates updates to marketing leadership on monthly basis.
Has a strong understanding of market research related to assigned service lines. Works closely with market research team on market analysis and reporting to support marketing strategy development and maintaining competitor, consumer and physician information.
Responsible for creation and development of content and brand standards for program/service line through use of creative briefs including background, research information, design look and feel, content and copy, timelines and deadline management and graphic content.
Develops key messaging, design and provides direction on creative execution. Oversees the creation and production of all marketing communication materials and facilitates necessary approvals on all materials. Ensures compliance on all marketing materials and internal initiatives.
Responsible for the development of web and social media content strategy as it relates to assigned service lines.
Responsible for tracking ROI of all marketing initiatives and establishing tracking mechanisms. Reviews ROI monthly/quarterly with VP of Marketing. Oversees subsequent market plan adjustments.
Responsible for leading event planning including: development of event vision, staffing, catering, venue, internal event team coordination, and ROI
Helps recruit and manage department interns. Oversees their daily activities and overall workload. Ensures all hospital and school requirements for the internship are met. Assists with onboarding, project management and performance review.
Represents organization at community events as needed or required.
What will you need?
Strong verbal and written communications, excellent presentation skills, strong organizational skills and solid computer skills are required.
Must have working knowledge of branding, advertising, communications and digital platforms; self-starter with integrated marketing skill set.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, excel under tight deadlines and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Reader.
Strong project management experience with results-oriented focus.
Ability to perform market and business analysis, strategic planning, program management, budget management; ability to deploy, implement and measure effectiveness (ROI) of marketing programs.
Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated team player, consensus builder and persuasive presenter who can work well with others using tact and diplomacy; consistently delivers high level of customer service to internal customers.
Ability to collaborate well with others is critical. Must be able to work in a matrix organizational structure.
Must conduct themselves in a professional manor at all times; must be hard working and ethical.
Bachelorâ™s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Five or more years of experience and proven track record in strategic and integrated marketing communications that includes strategic marketing and planning, advertising and promotional plans, agency relationships and working with a creative development process.
