We have recently moved to a larger office facility due to our steady growth and are looking to expand our Promotional Products division. We’re a great fit for someone who is always eager to learn, has a passion for creativity, wants to control their own earning potential, and has experience helping brands grow with promotional products and campaigns.  

 

Job Description Summary: 

Pinpoint is seeking an experienced promotional product sales professional with integrity, high-energy, and a competitive edge to drive new business and help the company grow. The ideal candidate is an experienced promotional product professional with a minimum of 3 years outside sales experience with the ability and eagerness to make outbound calls, secure in-person/virtual meetings, give client presentations, and deliver consistent results. This hands-on, outside sales position will be supported by our promotional sourcing and operations team. A book of business is preferred, but not required. By joining Pinpoint, you will have the opportunity to grow with your existing clients by offering them our other services such as printing, signage, customized apparel, event marketing, company stores, fulfillment, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to sell promotional products and 360° marketing solutions to position themselves as the ‘go-to’ person to help companies grow and increase brand awareness.



So, what will you actually be doing?

  • Developing a strategic sales and marketing plan to acquire new clients through direct selling tactics with the core focus on promotional product sales.
  • Act as the single point of contact for clients during the lifecycle of the project as needed to discuss ideas, products, pricing, materials, proofs, turnaround times, shipping, metrics, and similar particulars to develop partner relationships.
  • Generating a pipeline of new revenue opportunities by actively identifying, engaging, and developing new prospects and meeting with and calling upon target audiences to give sales presentations, product demos, and capability presentations.
  • Realizes revenue targets/quotas to maximize sales opportunities by connecting client needs with Pinpoint’s offerings.
  • Effectively maneuvers through the politics associated with competitive bids and existing vendor relationships, demonstrating the ability to address the complexities associated with the decision-making process.
  • Understand the business environment, maintains a pipeline of early-stage leads, and forecasting future wins and hurdles.
  • Maintaining updated notes, activities, time tracking, sales quotas, and project progress in our custom CRM system.
  • Collaborating with designers, production specialists, project managers, and creative thinkers to present, develop, and execute marketing and promotional programs for clients.
  • Researching trends, industry news, and client happenings in order to leverage this insight to better serve our clients.

Skills and requirements needed to succeed: 

  • 3+ years of experience in promotional product sales. 
  • Relevant experience implementing new business marketing plans, creating presentations, and submitting RFP’s.
  • Proven and relevant experience successfully selling to enterprise-level and larger companies. 
  • Understands in detail the particulars of promotional products, print, apparel, and customized marketing. 
  • An uncanny ability to connect with the "right" people and thrive on creating mutually beneficial partnerships at all levels.
  • Must be a strategic thinker, have the ability to drive metrics, influence others, and have excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials, especially visually attractive presentations. 
  • A confident attitude that fuels a genuine desire to want to help businesses and people improve and succeed. 
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple customers and projects simultaneously across several departments.  
  • A keen focus on the “why” for any action, from articulating insights for creative briefs to the rationale for holding a meeting.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail. 
  • High-energy, yet composed personality with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude and approach to work.
