The HR Certification Institute (HRCI), dedicated to advancing the HR profession by developing and administering best-in-class accredited certifications, is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead brand and digital strategies and develop and implement innovative and strategic marketing initiatives with measurable results. This position is located in Alexandria, VA.
The Senior Director of Marketing is a working manager responsible for effectively managing and facilitating the digital marketing activities of internal and external stakeholders while managing a small team in a fast paced, highly complex environment. This leader will use his/her strategic understanding of the digital marketing landscape to effectively and efficiently execute the vision, mission, and values of HRCI.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred) plus ten years of marketing experience and five years of progressive management experience. HRCI seeks individuals with demonstrated success in growing eCommerce and organic search, prior success leading marketing automation strategies and campaigns, and experience managing a marketing budget to optimize paid search and display re-targeting. Experience in certification, learning, or credentialing as well as managing profit and loss business lines is preferred.
