Summary of Duties: This position, in conjunction with the Associate Athletic Director of Marketing & Fan Experience, oversees the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive strategic marketing and promotions plan for all home athletic events for all 17 sports targeting a variety of diverse audiences including alumni, faculty, staff, friends of WSU, administration, and current students. Specifically, this position will have delegated oversight of game production for the football program and directly oversee the marketing of the men's basketball. This position also manages a variety of public relation activities on-campus and within the community, including the direct oversight of the department's local advertising. The Director of Marketing and Fan Experience is also responsible for assisting with oversight of the Marketing Department's Student Internship Program, including the recruitment and hiring of student interns for the department.
