About AGC Houston: The Associated General Contractors of America – Houston Chapter (AGC Houston) represents nearly 600 regional commercial construction contractors and their employees. Our mission is to bring people together to advance the issues important to the construction industry. From advocacy, safety, and training, to communications and networking, AGC Houston takes an essential role in carrying the industry into the future.

About the Position: The Marketing Coordinator will be the association’s point person for all things “marketing”! From social media and website management, to print and electronic communications, this newly created position will play an integral part in ensuring the AGC brand continues to be at the forefront of the commercial construction community in Houston. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. They will work closely with all department managers to ensure that programs and services are marketed via necessary communication channels.

Professional Qualities: We are looking for a forward-thinker who takes initiative under little supervision in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Coordinator will be a creative, sociable professional with prior hands-on experience in marketing programs and services. The ability and comfort with “wearing many hats” is essential in a trade association environment.

Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is outgoing, yet able to successfully manage multiple task-oriented projects simultaneously. A “team player” who can also work independently will feel very comfortable in our work environment. Someone who has an energetic, friendly, disarming personality but who can also rein it in when necessary would be a great addition to our team.
