Globally digital marketing is undergoing change with the aim of bringing in best of breed digital technologies. This will enable regions and markets to meet their digital ambition, enhance communication and information dissemination to clients, engage in thought leadership & client education and most importantly play a pivotal role in influencing the sales funnel. In scope for digital technology is the entirety of digital assets that enable the mobilisation of a digital organisation across the web, mobile, social, email; basically, any channel that can be used to engage with potential clients or existing clients. This large undertaking requires a role to bring the best of breed technology, to bridge the gap between marketing and technology and deliver in a climate of much change.
This role will have overall responsibility for being the platform owner of the digital marketing platform across Private Bank in Asia realizing the strategy laid out by designing, building and delivering marketing technologies (Adobe experience manager, Marketo, SFMC as an example) in APAC in collaboration with global marketing technology teams and regional marketing and tech teams.
He/She will partner with IT leadership to establish functional, technical architecture and operationalize the rollout as well as the adoption of the platform. In addition, this role will work closely with Marketing SMEs, Business stakeholders and internal consumers of Digital deliverables and Digital Agencies to identify unique ways to build a digital marketing platform that delivers immersive omni-channel experiences.
This position will also be responsible to work with the global Private Bank marketing & technology teams comprising of strategy, digital business analysts, digital technical leads, digital project managers who can either manage delivery in house or partner with the right technology partners to manage and execute the global marketing technology roadmap. The scope of work would typically include running discovery/inception of digital marketing programs of work, the requirements management and intake process, technical design, build, QA and end-to-end project / technology leadership.
This role will directly report into Global head of Martech who has overall responsibility in defining the marketing technology strategy and delivery. This role would also continue to bridge the gap between business and IT which is also a key responsibility of the Martech team.
Supporting Digital Marketing Platform Strategy & Planning (Integrated roadmap to roll out digital marketing technologies globally)
Assess and select the right technologies (off the shelf or custom build) for digital marketing platform ecosystem making sure the same can be reused across multiple markets and are configurable
Provide clear relationships and flows between different marketing technologies from a customer lifecycle standpoint
Oversee and drive the execution of global digital marketing projects from planning to delivery with strong focus on customizing solutions to meet APAC needs
Sustain support to ensure that projects meet established business objectives, time and budget constraints, and standards of technical quality
Partner with marketing, business teams in APAC to meet digital marketing objectives
Management of a diverse team and vendors from multiple background and culture to ensure quality, smooth and integrated delivery from all involved vendors in planning and initiation of the Digital IT solution implementation.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bachelor's and Masters Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science
Min. 10 years of experience in software application/product development/production management roles
Min. 5 years of applicable experience in building and delivering global or regional digital marketing technology
Min. 5 years of applicable experience in leading software development teams in enterprise level, large scale
Expert understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process including Agile and Waterfall.
Expert understanding of client, omnichannel and digital marketing, with ability to bridge the gap between
marketing and IT
Expert understanding of digital marketing technologies spanning across web content management and digital
asset management systems, eCommerce, digital analytics, CRM, personalization, marketing automation, mobile and social
Hands on technical expertise in the development and/or architecture of systems utilizing marketing technologies.
Strong in defining a digital strategy and roadmap
Proven delivery experience with strong project management experience in the implementation of complex digital
applications including integrations with third party or backend systems
Stays abreast of technology trends which could be useful within the business environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and teaming skills; skills and experience in executive level
communication and presentations
