The American Urological Association (AUA), the premier urologic association providing support to the urologic community, is currently searching for a Member Engagement & Marketing Coordinator position located in our Linthicum, Maryland office.
This position supports the Member Engagement & Marketing Manager in all member recruitment and retention efforts. Is responsible for coordinating member engagement programs and activities, including membership committees, AUA exhibits, member email outreach, and e-newsletters. Provides some direction and guidance to Member Engagement & Marketing Specialist on member engagement activities.
The individual in this position will:
Be responsible for the development and execution of member engagement strategies.
Be responsible for executing all onboarding and engagement tactics, including onboarding activities for new members, ongoing engagement emails membership, and other ongoing engagement tactics.
develop and deploy targeted member newsletters
Coordinate the development and deployment of Membership marketing promotions and communications (print and digital), including content curation.
Serve as staff liaison to multiple committees.

To be Successful
Candidates must be collaborative and have communication proficiency (verbal and written skills). It is essential that the individual in this role be organized, flexible, and have a focus on quality. In addition:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite; database experience helpful.
Knowledge of association management software.
3-5 years’ experience coordinating projects; membership or marketing experience helpful.
Multi-tasked oriented and the ability to prioritize and organize work.
Able to function well in, and contribute to, a team environment.
This position will be required to attend the Annual Meeting and will be required to have the physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the day to various parts of a convention center and work long hours for this week.
