Most important:Â Assists Lead of Technology and Marketing (LTM) in developing and executing the broader recruitment strategy. While the Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH) is on the cutting-edge of the effort to modernize epidemiology, many of the tools and tactics for communication and community engagement in this field remains 'unknown territory.'
As such, this role presents a sizeable opportunity, not only to improve the effectiveness of recruitment in health studies,Â especiallyÂ amongst historically underrepresented communities, but also to contribute to the advancement of the field on the whole.Â
Assists in developing marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials with a moderate to high level of guidance from others.
Performs one or more of the following marketing functions: marketing communications /advertising; Web blogs or digital marketing; market research; development or review and update of the marketing infrastructure and management of external sales agency relationships.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports on sales and circulation activity. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Conducts market research, analyzes results and develops marketing strategies based on findings. May participate in developing new products and services, and determining new markets.
Performs other related work as needed.
Experience with marketing, though not necessarily in the context of health research.Â
Ability to reach out to organizations and form relationshipsÂ
A desire and capacity to learn, especially Salesforce and basic analytics.Â
Excellent organization and time-management skills.Â Â
The capacity to operate with a high degree of autonomy.Â Â
The desire to refine and create new recruitment strategies, rather than solely executing existing ones.Â
