Position Summary

Under the direction of the Departmental Administrator, the Marketing/Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the promotion and outreach of the ColumbiaDoctors/NewYork-Presbtyerian Imaging (CDNYPI) practice and the Kreitchman PET Center.


Responsibilities

  • Performs and/or directs the promotional and marketing activities for all outpatient practices.
  • Handles all personnel activities, assigns work assignments, and supervises all marketing staff members in the PET Center and CDNYPI practice.
  • Assesses competency of marketing staff members; Conducts marketing staff meetings; Plans and implements in-service training.
  • Directs and/or provides outreach services to potential referring physician offices in the tri-state area including telephone contact, on-site visits, and presentation of marketing and informational materials.
  • Assesses satisfaction of referring physicians and patients; recommends and implements changes based upon feedback. Prepares monthly reports as required.
  • Participates in development of marketing strategy; Participates in development of promotional materials; Maintains up-to- date knowledge of market and competitors.
  • Coordinates and/or participates in development and presentation of physician seminars, continuing education materials, etc.
  • Attends professional meetings as needed to reinforce outreach efforts.
  • Coordinates and/or conducts patient education programs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related radiology experience.
  • Three years of marketing or outreach experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer service.  Must be very well organized and attentive to detail.
