The Office of University Advancement has a position opening for an Assistant Director of Athletic Advancement and Marketing. The successful candidate will be asked to lead a comprehensive athletic fundraising program that engages former SAU athletes as well as friends of the university in the life of the institution. The individual must be highly organized, demonstrate a high level of initiative, have strict attention to detail, possess excellent customer service skills and excel at multi-tasking. The individual would manage a portfolio of prospects with leadership gift capacity. Other projects oversight would include Former Athlete Player Reunions, E-Newsletter, Oversight of Athletics Advancement Special Events, and Men’s Basketball Donor Travel Coordinator. This position will report directly to the Executive Director of Advancement. Requirements: BA/BS degree or six years of related experience, a sense of humor, a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external constituencies and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
